He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Gross and Beatrice Gross (Yale); and his nephew Joseph Hasan. He is survived by: his sister Sandra Hasan; his nieces and nephews, Adam Hasan (Jessica), Sharif Hasan, Najia Whitesell (Mark) and Nour Hasan; his great-nephew Jacob; his great-nieces, Harlowe and Savannah; his friend Michelle Dante; and also Daimen Fondo.
