He was predeceased by: his parents, Irving Ashton and Irene Ashton (Burgham). He is survived by: his wife Paulette Erwine; his children, Heidi Ashton Yoon (Bruce Yoon) of Silver Spring, MD, Christopher Ashton and Heather Ashton of Richmond, VA; his grandchildren, Henry Yoon and Vivian Yoon; and his sister Nancy Potter (Robert) of Manassas, VA..
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Corcoran Funeral Home, Inc. (20 S Main St, Wilkes-Barre, PA 18705). The military honors will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the United States Army and the Plains American Legion (1123 East End Blvd, Wilkes-Barre, PA 18702).
