He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Erdman and Lois Erdman (Honeycut). He is survived by: his wife Helen Erdman (O'Hara); his sons, William, James (Wilkes-Barre), Jonathan and Robert (Gaithersburg, MD); and his brother Gordon Erdman (Donna). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
