He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Jacob Settles and Evelyn Frye Settles; his wife Twila VanVoorhis; his sons, Rick Settles (Lana) of Uniontown, PA, Robert Copechal (Sherri) of Washington, PA and Grant McClelland (Allison) of Beallsville, PA; his siblings, Jacob Settles "Fred" of Allison, PA, Charlotte Dabney of Pittsburgh, PA, Goldie "Dolly" Jones (Roy) of Pittsburgh, PA, Lawrence Settles (Sonya) of Bridgeville, PA, Darlene Curry (Steve) of Uniontown, PA and Donna Settles of Uniontown, PA; his grandchildren, Richard Settles, Jarel Settles, Zachary Settles (Halla), Isaac Copechal, ViVian Copechal, Taylor McClelland, Conner McClelland, Dawson McClelland, Eli Vitte and Harper Vitte; and his siblings, Nina Moultrie, Evelyn Settles, Balinda Settles, Jack Settles, Nelson Settles and Robert Settles.
