He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Saflin and Mary Martinich Saflin; and his siblings, Robert, Michael, Steve Saflin, Charlotte Saflin, Mildred Rauchfuss and Mary Gregula.
He is survived by: his wife Genevieve Stotka Saflin; his children, Donna Revi (Robert) of Belle Vernon, PA and Joe Saflin (Marsha) of Gainesville, VA; his grandchildren, Trent Saflin (Raquel), Trevor Saflin, Trey Saflin, Jarett Orlandi and Paige King (Drew); and his great grandchildren, Raigan, Hadley King and Reid "R. J." Saflin.
