He was predeceased by: his wife Dorothy Mae Bensing (Kahler); his parents, Herbert R Bensing and Sadie Bensing (Topher); and his siblings, William W., George G. Bensing and Mary Stofflet.
He is survived by: his children, Todd K. Bensing, Lynn M. Bensing-Nice, Jane A Bensing-Cole and Philip J. Bensing; and his grandchildren, Shannon Ruth (Christian Bensing), Nicholas (Adam Cole), John (Ryan Nice) and Philip P. (Ava Bensing). He is also survived by great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
