He was predeceased by: his parents, Cresencio Rivera and Libertad Borrero; his brother Ernesto Ubiles; and his nephew Jose Ubiles. He is survived by: his girlfriend Kristin Goosley; his stepfather Jorge Velazquez; his siblings, Jorge Velazquez Jr., Mario Velazquez, Beatriz Tirado and Evelyn Agosto; his stepsons, George De Jesus, Nick De Jesus and Anthony De Jesus; and his nieces and nephews, Lisandra, Vilma, Limyra, Charity, Analicia, Gianna, Kedie, Walter, Jeffrey, Luis, Jorge III, Lionel, Luciano, Marcelo, Geovani, Aurelio, Mario and Ian. He is also survived by many loving step grandchildren, great nieces, great nephews, aunts, uncle and cousins.
