He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Herman A. Eck and Mabel Eiswert Eck; his children, Patty Pfirman (Ronny), Diana Persun (Mike), Evelyn Rall (Harry), MaryLou O'Neill (Joe), Denise Boring (Dan), Doris Bush (Larry), Roxane Keller (Rick), Larry Eck (Beth), Cheryl Palski (Eric), Tammy Packer (Mike) and Kimberly Corson (Scott); his wife Irene Marion Steinbacher; his son James Stephen Eck; his grandsons, Dale Pfirman and Joshua Rall; his great grandchild Ethan Persun; and his siblings, Francis, Joseph, Lawrence Eck, Dorothy Fischer and Eileen Hamm. He was also cherished by 58 grandchildren; 124 great-grandchildren; and 5 great-great-grandchildren, brothers.
