Cecilia V. Haldeman Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Cecilia V. Haldeman of Bastress, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 26, 2025 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George L. Steinbacher and Clara M. Steinbacher (Deutschle); her husband Jerry W. Haldeman; her grandchildren, Joshua and Emily; and her siblings, Lawrence, Leonard, Leo, Paul, George, Gerald Steinbacher, Rita Schuler and Rose Young.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Ann Paschall, Susan M. Fricke (Robert), Mabel G. Schuster (Wayne), Scott Haldeman (Elizabeth), Bernard M. Haldeman (Sharon), Karen A. Fisher (Kenneth) and Jeffrey S. Haldeman (Jayne). She is also survived by 26 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
A prayer was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 5:30 PM at the Crouse Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. (133 E 3rd St, Williamsport, PA 17701). Visitation was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the BVM Church (5973 Jacks Hollow Rd, Williamsport, PA 17702). A graveside service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 12:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial contributions be made to Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
