She was predeceased by: her husband Samuel P. Counterman; her parents, Marion Brooks and Decker Van; and her siblings, Rocco Coco, Christopher Coco and Laurel Morris-Lucas (VanWhy).
She is survived by: her children, Penelope (David Emanuel), Samuel P. Jr. (Jennifer Sworen), Terri and Scott of Bartonsville, PA; her grandsons, Joe, Matt, Nate, Dylan and John Michael; her great grandchildren, Jensen, Avery and Emile; and her siblings, Patricia Good (Van Why) of East Stroudsburg, Franklin Coco of Saylorsburg, Charles Coco (Rick) of East Stroudsburg, Lorenzo Coco, Sr. of Scotrun and Jonathan Berman of Stroudsburg. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
