He was predeceased by: his parents, William Haines and Caroline Haines (Devane). He is survived by: his children, Kate (Eric Hummel) and John Haines (Danielle); his grandchildren, Kobie, Lucy, Baileigh, Jonathan and Zacharie; and his sister Susanne "Sue" Clewell of West Virginia.
