He was predeceased by: his parents, Clayton Kline and Jennie Kline (DeLong); and his siblings, Doris Henry, Irene Taglieber, Robert and Jimmy Kline.
He is survived by: his wife Joan M. Kline (Gilly); his children, Denise (Jonathan Stadler), David L. Kline Jr. (Carol Ann Baer) and Dawn Ziegler; his siblings, Katherine (David Moyer), Herman and Hannah Kline; his grandchildren, Lakyn, Joel, Kristen and Samantha; and his great grandchildren, Sophee and Hailey. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
