He was predeceased by: his parents, Winfield West and Helen West (Jackson); his former wife Barbara J. West; his daughter Deborah West; and his brother Phillip G. West.

He is survived by: his wife Linda Duncan-West; his children, Randall West (Jennifer) of Boyertown and Michelle Sassaman (Randy) of Stowe; his grandchildren, Cody West and Ashlyn Sassaman; his sister Patricia West; his sister-in-law Betty West; and his pet Jacob.
