He was predeceased by: his mother Margaret Forbes (Ferkins); and his nephew Zachary. He is survived by: his father Cyril "Pete" Shearer of Green Lane; his sister Donna Harmon (Duane); his stepsiblings, Amy Ryan (Darryl) and Andrew Gilbert (Eileen); and his nieces and nephews, Nathaniel "Cole", Emily, Shawn, Justin, Bryannika, Kristofer and Brion.
