He was predeceased by: his parents, Anna Vitek (Guy) and Stephen Vitek; his son William Valentine; his grandson Jospeh Porvaznik; and his brother Bernard Vitek.

He is survived by: his wife Dolores Vitek (Koreisl); his children, Stephen Vitek (Angie), Brian Valentine (Lisa) of Drums, Anna, Joanne Vitek, Columbia, Beth Ann Valentine and Kathy Porvaznik (Joseph); his grandchildren, Seth, Jillian, Dylan, Anthony, Candice, Michael, Brian, Nicholas, Joseph, Jorge, Korina, Stephanie and Natalie; his great grandchildren, Blake, Allie, Hannah, Joseph, Bentley, Owen, Aubrey, Nova Lee, Embree, Romero, Jarrod and Bryce; and his pet Missy.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the funeral home.
