He is survived by: his wife Terry Stout Yerkes; his children, Peter Yerkes, Jr. of New Jersey and Lisa Yerkes (Earl Steele, Jr.) of Bangor, PA; and his grandchildren, Miranda Yerkes and Dennis Yerkes. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and numerous other family members.
