She was predeceased by: her parents, Pasquale DeMaria and Josephine DeMaria (Romano); her husband Frank P. Comunale; her sons, John P. Comunale and James P. Comunale; and her siblings, Michael DeMaria, Lucia Capone and Joanne Clewell.
She is survived by: her children, Michelena Smith (Ted), Mary Jo Krafty (Francis "Sam") and Frank C. Comunale (Louise); her daughters-in-law, Mary Ann Comunale Cerino (Nelson) and Desiree Comunale (late James P. Comunale); her sister Patricia Bray of Bangor, PA.; her grandchildren, Frank Comunale, Jr. (Ashly), Maria Comunale (Clem Mellott), Anthony Comunale (Deb), Daniel Comunale (Mallory), Christina Cornish (Marc), Samantha Krafty (Patrick Denman), Elizabeth Maloney (Ryan), Michael Krafty, Matthew Smith (Charlene), Michelena Furnish (Chris), Gina Nichols (Adam), John Comunale, James Comunale and Dominic Comunale; and her great grandchildren, Marco, Franco Comunale, Maci, Emily Maloney, Jacob, Carter Smith, Chance, Josephine Furnish, Shay Nichols, Paul Cornish, Vincent Comunale and Enzo Comunale.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church, Elevator Fund, Third and Garibaldi Avenues, Roseto, PA, or to the Comunale Family Scholarship Fund in c/o the funeral home, 4 Lillian Lane, Bangor, PA.
