She was predeceased by: her husband James E. Serfass; her parents, William Hamm and Mae Hamm (Wilgus); and her siblings, Richard, Robert, Allen, Raymond, Malden Hoffman, William, Ronald, Melvin Hamm and Joyce Heller.
She is survived by: her children, Richard R. Smith, Jr. (Debbie Smith) of Toms River, NJ, Roxanne M. Richardson (Walter Trinkley) of Nazareth, Vicki Fassl (Craig) of Nazareth and Scott Smith (Kelly) of Slateford; and her sister June Alteri of Bangor. She is also survived by one stepson, three step daughters, step grandchildren and step great grandchildren.
