She was predeceased by: her husband John A. Steinmetz; her parents, Domenick DeFranco and Marie DeFranco (Camilletti); and her siblings, Mamie Smith, Clemie Svirzovsky, Lucy Horn, Rose Plattenburg, Helen Maioriello, Frank, Paul, Anthony, Daniel and Domenick, Jr..
She is survived by: her brother Dr. Albert DeFranco of Nazareth. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church (560 N 6th St, Bangor, PA 18013). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 from 12:15 PM to 12:30 PM at the Our Lady of Mt. Carmel New Catholic Cemetery (560 N 6th St, Bangor, PA 18013).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be offered in Jennie's name to Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Elevator Fund, 560 N. 6th Street, Bangor, PA 18013.
