She was predeceased by: her husband John A. Steinmetz; her parents, Domenick DeFranco and Marie DeFranco (Camilletti); and her siblings, Mamie Smith, Clemie Svirzovsky, Lucy Horn, Rose Plattenburg, Helen Maioriello, Frank, Paul, Anthony, Daniel and Domenick, Jr..
She is survived by: her brother Dr. Albert DeFranco of Nazareth. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be offered in Jennie's name to Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Elevator Fund, 560 N. 6th Street, Bangor, PA 18013.
