He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Gillette and Pauline Gillette (Burkhardt); and his brother Brian. He is survived by: his wife Bernadine 'Sam' Gillette; his children, Elizabeth Rood, Emily Henley, Erik Gillette, Evan Gillette and Elliot Gillette; his stepchildren, Michael Easterday and Jamie Easterday; and his siblings, Shirley Gillette, Bruce Gillette, Thomas Gillette, Stephen Gillette and Michael Gillette. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren.
