He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen Rutt Hahn (Kish) and Herbert W. Rutt, Sr.; and his siblings, Isabelle Peters, Richard and Gerald Rutt.
He is survived by: his wife Lenore Rutt (Slutter); his son Jeffrey Rutt (Tina); and his grandchildren, Morgan and Zane Rutt. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
