She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Searles and Violet Searles (Deitz); her husband Walter DeRemer; her siblings, Sharon Reed and Bruce Searles; and her grandson Edward "Billy" Brittain.
She is survived by: her children, Deborah DeRemer, Cynthia Hoffman (Russell), Walter DeRemer, Jr. and Gerald DeRemer (Carol); her siblings, Marcia George and Robert Searles; and her grandchildren, Walter III, Kevin, Lisa, Nicole, Jerry Jr., Travis, Bradford, Sarah Russell Jr. (Punky), Shannon and Anthony. She is also survived by 36 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
