He was predeceased by: his parents, David E. Hughes, Jr. and Berniece L. Hughes (Buskirk); and his daughter Christine L. Hughes. He is survived by: his wife Helen A. Hughes (Handelong); his daughter Bridget D Hughes; his sisters, Charlene and Mary Lou; and his pet Belle.
