She was predeceased by: her parents, John Owens and Marjorie Oaten Owens; and her sisters, Jeanette Feiser and Marjorie Capobianco. She is survived by: her son Richard M. Shaplin (Karen); and her grandsons, Rick and Ryan (Linda). She is also survived by 10 nieces and nephews.
