We are sad to announce that on August 16, 2018, at the age of 98, Alvona Jones (Bangor, Pennsylvania) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parent Albert Walter; and her siblings, Delphine Albert and Loring East. She is survived by: her parent Beulah Ruth East (Oyer); her spouse Melvin Jones; her children, Delphine Wertman (Paul) and Brent Jones (Jacki); her grandchildren, Nathan Bryant Jones, Alycia Merritt and Nikki Jones; and her great grandchildren, Nathan James Jones, Lorrie Jones, Harper Merritt and Maisie Merritt.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to First United Evangelical Congregational Church, 26 S. Second Street, Bangor, PA 18013.
