She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward F. Glowacki and Antoinette Brennan (Tessie); her brother Edward F. Glowacki, Jr.; and her spouse Isadore Dobrydnia (Jim). She is survived by: her children, James E. Dobrydnia and Kathy Twigg; her grandsons, Allen Blumenauer, Jr. and Dean Huston; and her great grandchildren, Allen Blumenauer, III (AJ) and Edward Blumenauer (Eddie).
Rita devoted her time and energy organizing fundraisers, dinners, and other activities supporting the Roxborough and Veteran community, also collecting donations and charitable contributions to distribute Christmas gifts to those at the VA Medical Center for years.
