She was predeceased by: her parents, William McGoldrick and Anna McGoldrick (Kepner); her parents-in-law, Edward Merz and Elsie Merz (Knopp); her son Jason Gillens Sr. of West Deer; her siblings, Mary Ann Sciulli (Guiseppe), William McGoldrick (Liz) and Edward McGoldrick (Carol); and her nephews, Joseph Sciulli and Michael McGoldrick (Jackie).
She is survived by: her husband Donald Merz; her children, Jennifer Gillens (Merz), Kristin Baum (Merz) and Michael Baum of Richland; her grandchildren, Jason "Jay" Gillens Jr., Regina Beiter, Caden Gillens, Logan Baum and Delaney "Laney" Baum; her great grandchildren, Kynslie Gillens and Christopher "C. J." Gillens; her nieces and nephews, Diane Altaher (Bashar), Dolores Wright (Dennis), Perry Sciulli (Lydia), Anthony Sciulli and Nicholas Sciulli; and also Patricia Flemming (late Billy).
