He was predeceased by: his parent John "Jack"; and his brothers, John Coleman, Jr. and James Coleman. He is survived by: his parent Dorothy Coleman; his wife Jeanie Schmiedel Coleman; his children, Suzanne M. Coleman of Bairdford and Thomas L. Coleman (Jessie) of Arlington, VA.; and his grandchildren, Jacob, Nathaniel, Miriam and Leia.
