He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin H. Burkholder, Jr. and Fanny B. Burkholder (Earhart); and his sister Betty Shreffler. He is survived by: his wife Bonita L. Burkholder (McLane); his sons, Benjamin H. Burkholder, IV (Georgiann) of Bainbridge and Dean E. Burkholder (Melissa) of Marietta; his grandchildren, Benjamin V, Emily, Faith, Brady and Derrick Burkholder; and his sisters, Helen Libhart of Elizabethtown, Arlene Walter (Harold) of Lancaster and Lois Fink of Elizabethtown. He is also survived by extended family and caring friends.
