It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph D. Mayer of Baden, Pennsylvania, born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 11, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph G. Mayer and Anne C. Mayer (Iseman); his brother Thomas Mayer; and his sister-in-law Maureen Mayer. He is survived by: his wife Christine M. Mayer (Rech); his son Shane Mayer (Erica Phillips); his siblings, Michael Mayer, Daniel Mayer (Karen) and Claire Gresh (Dave); and his siblings-in-law, Robert Rech (Mary Lou) and Barbara Jennings (Scott). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
