She was predeceased by: her father Kenneth D. Lawrence; her siblings, Kenneth Lawrence and Ginger Brewster; and her daughter-in-law Sheila McCartney. She is survived by: her husband Francis E. McCartney, Sr.; her children, Francis E. McCartney, Jr. (Ruth Agnew) of Baden and Dawn Arnold (William) of Monaca; her granddaughter Kasey Arnold; and her siblings, Dorothy Smith of Fredericksburg, VA, Carol Thompson (Jerry) of Woodbridge, VA, Barbara Sinegal (Peter) of Reston, VA and George Lawrence (Rose) of Berkley Springs, WV. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Joanne donated her time as a volunteer for many church activities.
