He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Loebig and Mildred Eisenberg Loebig; his former wife Elizabeth Loebig; his wife Dorothy Loebig; and his siblings, Robert, Richard Loebig and Mildred Lintner.
He is survived by: his children, James E. Jr. (Dina Loebig), Edward (Kim Kuchtjak), Lisa Loebig of Colorado Springs, CO and Christine (George McCartney); his brother John; and his sister-in-law Marlene Loebig. He is also survived by six grandchildren.
