He was predeceased by: his father Gus Johnson; and his brothers, Samuel and John (JJ). He is survived by: his wife Pauline Johnson (Slamanick); his children, Judy Durkosh (Don) of Sewickley and Jim Johnson (Patricia) of Conway; his grandchildren, Amanda Richard (Nathan), Kaitlin Durkosh (Jason Zito), Brianne Durkosh, Jamie Johnson and Erik Johnson; his great grandchild Thea Richard; and his sisters, Amelia Avedellas (William) of Camp Hill, PA and Isabel Niznik of Baden.
