It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George R Bartimac of Baden, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 18, 2024, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Angelo Bartimac and Mary Bartimac; his former wife Frances Bartimac; his children, Deborah Syrek and Ronald Bartimac; his stepson Gregory Allen Peter; and his siblings, Phillip Bartimac, John Bartimac, Carmela Strausser, Anna Mae Kampi and Norma Jean Kraynie.
He is survived by: his wife Helen Bartimac; his children, Dawn Turner, Rhonda Walters and Dale M. Bartimac; his stepson Jack D. Peters; his sister Stella Lorenz; his grandchildren, Shawn McNear, Pamela Siebert, Joshua Peters, Brian, Nicole, Megan, Erica and Turner; his caregiver Mark Hartle; and his close friends, Brenda, John Maxiener and Jennie Nelson. He is also survived by ten great grandchildren.
