He was predeceased by: his parents, Denzil Sr. Long and Gloria Long (Diaz); his wife Karen Long (Shearer); his son Denzil Long III; and his sister Josephine Palmer.
He is survived by: his daughters, Kelly, Amanda and Aubrey; his grandchildren, Diamond and Riko; his sister Esther; and his nieces and nephews, Belinda, Kevin, Michael, Ricky, Joey and John.
