With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara Zankel of Baden, Pennsylvania, born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 27, 2022 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Robert Merriman Sr.; and her son Justin Zankel. She is survived by: her mother Bernice Bews; her husband Hap Zankel; her siblings, William Merriman (Jennifer), Tim Merriman (Janet), Robert Merriman, Jr., Carol Schavolt and Debbie Cyrilla; her stepdaughters, Tina Swider (Robert), Debbie Zankel and Denise Zankel; and her grandchildren, Sarah Swider, Timothy Swider (Keile) and Brandon Zankel. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
