She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry L. and Mary E. Gess (Shaffer); her husband Clarence Christy; her daughter Donna Lentz; her grandson Timothy Lentz; her children-in-law, Jacqueline Christy and Howard "Sonny" Keibler; and her siblings, Lloyd, William, Doyle Gess, Margaret King, Olive Gess, Verna Gess, Dorothy Smart and Florence Emahiser.
She is survived by: her children, Richard D. Christy of Vandergrift, Robert L. Christy of The Villages, FL, Carole L. Keibler of Loyalhanna Township, Edward E. Christy (Marie), Patricia A. Janoscrat (Richard) of Homer City and Ronald A. Christy of Avonmore; and her caregiver Denise M. Magalich (Vincent) of Saltsburg. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.
