He was predeceased by: his parents, Ludvik Sharek and Stella Pasternak Sharek; and his siblings, Charles Sharek and Josephine Montali. He is survived by: his children, Anastasia Winiesky (Jay) of Washington Twp, John Sharek (Joann) of Elderton, Ludwig Sharek (Carolyn) of Irwin, Timothy Sharek (Lisa) of Washington Twp, Michael Sharek of Avonmore and Bernie Sharek (Denise) of Avonmore; his grandchildren, James Winiesky (Hollie), Rachael Winiesky of Washington Twp, Jason Sharek (Hilary) of Connellsville, Timothy Sharek (Ashley) of Wexford, Melisa Sharek O'Tool (Ryan) of Plum Boro and Zachary Sharek (Courtney) of Allegheny Twp; his great grandchildren, Dylan, Sienna Sharek, Jordan and Ellen O'Tool; his sister Bertha A. Zapotoczny of Avonmore; and his siblings-in-law, Cordelia Thomas (Donald) of Greensburg and Joseph Douds (Christine) of Duncansville.
