She was predeceased by: her husband Arthur Thompson; her parents, Willard Hess and Elsie Howington Hess; her children, Arthur Thompson, Randy Thompson, Audrey Thompson and Shirley Thompson; and her siblings, Donald Hess, John Hess, Wesley Hess, Willis Hess and Frances Presnell.
She is survived by: her children, Leonard (Gloria) of Maryland and Mary Heck of West Grove, PA; and her siblings, Millard Hess of Mountain City, TN, Ellen Dancy of Boone and Shelba Hicks of Mountain City. She is also survived by twenty nine great grandchildren, and eight great great grandchildren.
