He was predeceased by: his parents, Rocco M. Del Nero and Thursa A. Del Nero (Yates) of Avondale, PA.. He is survived by: his wife Josephine Cordivano Del Nero (Josie); his sons, Christopher J and Gregory M. (Romana); his granddaughter Sophia; and his siblings, Michael R. of Florida, Dolores I. Rowe of Pennsylvania and Terri E. March (Paul) of North Carolina.

Burial will be private. Because of Covid, the funeral mass will be held as follows: We invite you to celebrate Joseph's life on Saturday, March 26, 2022 at 11:00 AM at St. Patrick Church, 212 Meredith Street, Kennett Square, PA 19348.
