She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry E. Norton and Catherine H. Norton; her siblings, Harry E. Norton, Jr. and Catherine E. Jones; and her daughter Deborah Jo McKim.
She is survived by: her aunt Jo-Jo; her husband E. Richard McKim, Sr.; her children, Cheryl Ann McKim-Avery and E. Richard McKim, Jr. (Nicole); her grandchildren, Carlton Mark Avery II (Danielle), Craig Alexander McKim, Chandler Monroe Avery, Tiana Capri McKim, Jimeer James (Maddie), Khalif Muldrow, Akhirah Muldrow, Extended, Mickael Frison and Crystal Maddox-Clark; her great grandchildren, Xenia Cirino, Calianna Alexandria McKim, Charlotte Grace Avery, Jabril James, Jameel James, Macy James, Extended, Christopher Frison, Moriah and Cayden Maddox; her siblings, Helen Reeves (Samuel) and Wayne Norton (Arlene); her godchildren, Jacquelyn Wilson and Jerome Ruff; her siblings-in-law, Purnell C. Anderson, Jr. and Sylvia McKim; her daughter Desirée A. Bowers; her sister Margaret Hicks; and her sons, Chanin Ricketts, Michael Clark, Lawrence Dutton and Pastor Mark Avery. She is also survived by her parents, sisters and brothers-in-laws.
