She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael Staples and Josephine Staples (McHugh); her brother William Staples; and her brother-in-law Edmund Kelly. She is survived by: her husband Bryan Marrs Scofield; her son Gareth Scofield (Hayley); her grandchildren, Oliver and Freya Scofield; her brother David Staples (Sharyl); and also, Flo Kennedy and Sheila McManus. She is also survived by 17 nieces and nephews.
