It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Wilbur L. Young of Avis, Pennsylvania, born in Beech Creek, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 13, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his siblings, Kenneth, Clarence, George, Charles, Harold, Caroline, Geraldine and Bernice.
He is survived by: his wife Anna J. Young (McCloskey); his children, Wilbur L. Young, Jr. (Eileen) of McElhattan, Wayne Young (Cathy) of Castanea, Eugene Young of Lock Haven and Carol Carr of Lock Haven; and his siblings, James Young of Lock Haven, Leroy Young of Lock Haven, Robert Young of Jersey Shore, Ruthe Swartz of Alabama and Bonnie Cornell of Lock Haven. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.
Memorial donations may be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
