He was predeceased by: his father Jack M. Ryan; his wife Sherry Ryan (Brandt); and his grandson Rodney Merrifield (Reel). He is survived by: his mother Betty J. Ryan (Bartholomew); his daughters, Kelli Paulhamus (Dave) of Jersey Shore and Kris Smeltzer (Ron) of Lock Haven; his grandchildren, Ashley Messick (Jacob) and David Paulhamus (Heather); and his great grandchildren, Gavin, Izzy, Miah, Cody and Garrett.
