She was predeceased by: her parent Anna Jean; and her mother-in-law Kathryn E. "Elaine" Fanning. She is survived by: her parent Robert L. Edkin; her husband Kevin D. Fanning; her son Jeremy Fanning (Kristin) of Avis; her granddaughter Aubrey Jean Fanning; her brothers, Jerold N. Ross (Kelly) of Salladasburg and Adam J. Ross (Kristi) of Jersey Shore; her stepbrother Tim Edkin (Wendy) of Montgomery; and her father-in-law Teddy Lee "Ted" Fanning of Avis.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions in Shannan's name be made to the Gift of Life Donor Program, 401 N. Third St., Philadelphia, PA 19123.
