It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sandra Morgret Derr of Avis, Pennsylvania, born in Lock Haven, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 12, 2022, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George English and Vivian Andrus Newman (James); and her sister Vicki Spangler. She is survived by: her husband Edward A. Derr; her children, Robert E. Morgret of Avis, Michael A. Morgret, Sr. of Avis, Shirley J. O'Dell (Tom) of Avis and Gill J. Stevenson of Lock Haven; her stepdaughters, Mara Derr of Chambersburg, Hannah Derr of California and Elizabeth Derr of Mill Hall; and her brother James Newman, Jr. (Pat) of McElhattan. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to assist with funeral expenses.
