She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert E. Johnson and Betty White Johnson; and her brother Ronald Johnson. She is survived by: her children, Katherine Knarr (Gene "Butch") of South Carolina, Michael Johnson (Michelle) of Tylersville and William "Bill" Johnson (Cynthia) of South Carolina; and her siblings, Peg, Bobby, Steve, Jim (Peg), Susan and Mike Johnson. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Ruth's name may be made to the American Heart Association through the funeral home.
