He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Mellott and Jennie Mellott (Hinkle); and his siblings, Olive Smith, Dolly Stroup, Glenn Mellott and Lawrence Mellott.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Wayne-Mellott (Wayne); his son Paul Arthur Mellott of California; and his siblings, Virginia Delozier of Pittsburgh, PA, James Mellott (Patty) of Martinsburg, PA and Robert Mellott (Shirley) of South Carolina.
