With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joyce L. Willits of Avis, Pennsylvania, born in Jersey Shore, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 18, 2023 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Ivan Weigle and Helen Hipple Weigle; her husband George D. Willits; her children, Tammy Parent of Jersey Shore, Phil Myers of Linden, Doug Myers, Michael Myers of St. Mary's and Clair Myers of Antes Fort; her stepsons, Tim Willits of Williamsport and Todd Willits of Avis; her sisters, Iva Berger of Williamsport and Naomi Wingrove of Williamsport; and her stepson Tracey Willits. She was also cherished by 18 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild.
Her family suggests contributions be made to the Cornerstone Faith Fellowship Church 525 River Mill Rd., Jersey Shore, PA 17740.
