He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Steiger and Emmaline Steiger; his stepmother Pearl Steiger; and his sister Ginny Rich. He is survived by: his wife Gladys Heverly; his children, Douglas Steiger (Michelle), Cathy Marr (Greg), Gayle Jameson (Kevin) and Jen Crawford (Tim); and his sister Marion Vogler. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
